More about the interim manager
The interim manager is a C-level finance executive with corporate experience and a proven track record in the international automotive and manufacturing industry. As an expert in restructuring, he has repeatedly made a significant contribution to leading companies out of crisis, even under the most complex conditions. As CFO, he stands for finance excellence: with his expertise, he is predestined for the optimization of finance departments, as a sparring partner for the CEO as well as for M&A projects and post-merger integrations. The interim manager takes on mandates as interim CFO and interim CRO (with and without board positions).
In one of his largest projects, the interim manager was responsible as CFO and managing director for the post-merger integration following the takeover of a German medium-sized group by a leading Japanese tier 1 supplier and subsequently managed a comprehensive restructuring. This included the closure of four plants in Germany and South Africa and the establishment of a new production company in the Czech Republic. As Vice President Finance Europe at another Tier 1 supplier of interior fittings and acoustics with a turnover of two billion euros, 10,000 employees and 25 plants in Europe, he is responsible for the realignment of finance management with a focus on process and system optimization. During the coronavirus pandemic, as Group CFO and Managing Director at a medium-sized private equity portfolio company, he played a key role in carrying out three successful refinancings, significantly improving earnings, significantly reducing working capital and deleveraging the group by selling a part of the company.
International experience from corporations ranging from ABB to Toyota Boshoku and SMEs
The expert has been working independently as an interim manager and consultant since 2023. His international background from ABB to SKF and Toyota Boshoku to IAC make the interim manager a very good choice for corporations and SMEs alike. In addition to finance, the interim manager has also been responsible for purchasing, IT, product costing and legal matters with up to 130 employees. He also offers experience and intercultural expertise from assignments abroad (India, Bulgaria and Sweden). He has also been responsible for various restructuring and transformation projects in other European countries.
The interim manager with more than 30 years of experience in the manufacturing industry (including 22 years in the automotive sector) attaches great importance to a pragmatic and holistic approach. A key element of his approach is the constructive involvement of stakeholders: He cultivates an open communication and management style that enables exchange and feedback at eye level at all levels - and thus motivates those involved to engage and collaborate constructively.
