More about the interim manager

The interim manager specializes in the strategic and operational realignment of medium-sized mechanical engineering companies. As an experienced executive (CEO, managing director), he designs sustainable strategies for (international) growth as well as guiding companies safely through crises or changes. With his comprehensive sales expertise, he successfully places products and innovations in old and new markets. And as a graduate engineer, he is particularly well versed in engineering and production processes as well as products and technologies that require explanation.

The interim manager achieves sustainable increases in sales and earnings not only by optimizing business processes and production workflows. The development of new product and business areas is also one of his strengths. With his technical understanding and a trained eye for new markets, he initiates projects in development, product management and engineering as well as in sales and marketing - and drives these initiatives forward with prudence and assertiveness.

The interim manager is a practice-oriented executive with an entrepreneurial mindset. Thanks to his extensive experience in general management, he understands the importance of cross-divisional collaboration at key interfaces. With his experience, he combines leadership, sales, technology and production to form a powerful unit with efficient management and communication structures.

With a confident manner, strong communication and team skills as well as a high level of social and intercultural competence, he is ideally suited for demanding leadership and management tasks, especially in reorganization and transformation projects. Due to his various activities in public relations and association work, he is also trained to effectively represent the interests of his clients externally.

Before becoming self-employed, the interim manager was CEO and CSO of a medium-sized company for ventilation and process air technology (180 employees, 30 million euros turnover) for more than ten years. During this time, he also deepened his international experience as Chairman of the subsidiaries in the USA and Italy. Prior to that, he was a member of the Extended Board and Vice President in the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) division of a listed industrial company (over 300 million euros turnover), responsible for technology and production at nine locations with more than 1,000 employees, including in Austria, Sweden, the UK, the Czech Republic and Turkey. In this role, he also headed up engineering and central purchasing for the division.
