More about the interim manager
The interim manager is an expert in purchasing optimization and performance management in retail and in decentralized service organizations, such as the automotive aftermarket. His particular strength lies in not only identifying margin potential, but also realizing it. In doing so, he relies on cross-divisional category management - from customer insights, product mix and procurement to product pricing. The expert seeks mandates as interim purchasing manager, interim CPO or interim CEO. He also takes on the management of complex, international projects (corporations and SMEs).
The expert offers his clients many years of experience from large national and international retail groups such as Metro and Otto Group as well as leading companies in the European automotive aftermarket. Before becoming self-employed (since 2023), he was most recently Chief Product Officer at Rubix Group International, Europe's largest provider of products and services for industrial maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO). Prior to that, as CEO of the BPW Aftermarket Group, he significantly improved profitability through comprehensive reorganization and the development of new product lines and successfully managed the acquisition and integration of an acquisition. He previously held other management positions in purchasing and general management at Carglass Germany, Point S and Europart Holding, among others.
Creating customer enthusiasm that leads to sustainable profitable growth
The interim manager combines his expertise in category and margin management with comprehensive skills in digital sales processes and a strong focus on his clients' customers. He stands for digital and simple sales processes that reduce complexity and ease the burden on customers and employees alike. His optimization projects not only increase margins through comparatively easy savings. Rather, he creates customer enthusiasm, which results in sustainable profitable growth. For a large branch organization, he was able to increase the Net Promotor Score (NPS) to more than 70.
More doer than consultant: this is the interim manager's self-assessment, which is shared by his former employers and team. In terms of leadership and communication, the interim manager focuses on equality and teamwork. In addition to his own services, he offers his clients access to an international network of selected experts for purchasing processes - from pricing, POS design and customer journey to digitalization and communication.
