More about the interim manager

The interim manager (born in 1975) has been working as a freelance HR manager specializing in employment law and restructuring since 2008. In recent years, he has worked for clients in the upper midmarket and in matrix structures at international corporations. In recent years, he has worked on operational projects as well as managing employees in line functions. He enjoys working in a mix of operational and strategic tasks and acts according to the motto "think strategically and act operationally".

He already focused on employment law during his state examination in law and later completed a postgraduate degree in personnel and organizational development. In recent years, the interim manager has mainly been booked for generalist HR projects as an HR business partner and HR manager. He is also a certified project manager (PRINCE2, Srum) and has managed numerous HR projects with a focus on employment law, restructuring, labor relations and change management. He has become familiar with the entire spectrum of HR work and has accompanied numerous restructurings, implemented large-volume mass redundancies and managed company sales (asset deals and share deals).

The interim manager is used to working with "strong" works councils from numerous restructuring projects. He is very assertive in his contact with employee representatives and trade unions and develops pragmatic solutions for the implementation of project plans. At the same time, he negotiates on an equal footing and is good at de-escalating conflicts.

In addition to his work as an HR project manager, he reliably manages the entire spectrum of HR business. His experience ranges from operational HR support and recruiting to the development of concepts with a focus on learning and development.
