More about the interim manager
The interim manager is an expert in the search for production sites for industry and SMEs - from automotive to mechanical engineering and medical technology to electronics. His services go far beyond the mere search for buildings and land. This is because a particular focus of his portfolio is the comprehensive analysis of location factors: from acquisition and operating costs to personnel availability, logistics, approval and environmental aspects through to initiating contacts and initial negotiations, for example with politicians, associations, approval authorities and potential investors.
The expert uses these micro- and macro-economic analyses of location factors as a basis to develop robust business cases that enable sustainable decisions to be made. The location search consultant, who lives in Hungary himself, is particularly well connected in Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries such as Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Ukraine. He has also found locations for internationally active companies in south-eastern Europe (Croatia, Romania).
In his most recent assignment (2024), the interim manager worked in America for the first time. There, he was looking for a new location for 50 percent of US production for an American automotive company with 200 employees. The expert found a suitable property in Mexico. From 2022 to 2024, the interim manager was in charge of the site search for a Fortune 100 company in Europe. Among other things, he provided the OEM supplier in the field of autonomous driving with a comprehensive big data analysis of all location factors and assisted with negotiations on subsidies, planning permission and environmental assessments.
Diploma engineer and former plant manager with a strong network in CEE countries
In addition to his experience as a successful location search consultant, the interim manager offers his clients the skills of a production expert. Before becoming self-employed (since 2017), he was most recently Managing Director of a manufacturing technology company (170 million euros turnover, more than 1,000 employees) in Hungary. Before that, the industrial engineering graduate held management roles in logistics at the Beiersdorf Group (cosmetics, Tesa), among others.
In these roles and during his self-employment, the interim manager built up a strong network in the area of location search: He has numerous contacts in the CEE states in particular - in the real estate business as well as with investors, authorities and politicians. He is happy to put this network at the service of his clients.
