More about the interim manager

The interim manager is an expert in the digitalization of financial processes in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups. He understands the development of efficient finance organizations just as well as the digital transformation of existing processes. As a managing director, CFO and consultant for turnaround management, he has repeatedly made a significant contribution to leading companies out of crisis situations, shaping powerful organizations and implementing sustainable strategies. The Finance Executive is usually mandated as interim CFO or Commercial Director.

In his most recent mandates as an interim manager, he held several positions at a German start-up in the mobility industry. As interim CFO, he developed a modern, digital financial organization for the parent company and four sub-companies. At the same time, he digitalized the HR administration and supported the start-up's young managers with targeted coaching.

Consultant for turnaround management with excellent digitalization expertise

Before becoming a self-employed interim manager (since 2023), the graduate economist was part of the management team of an international publishing house for books and toys for many years, most recently as Head of Controlling and IT with power of attorney. Previously, he was responsible for finance at an international German provider of financial services (leasing) and was Commercial Director of a start-up for international call center services.

In his career, the interim manager has repeatedly been entrusted with restructuring tasks in challenging environments. This experience, combined with his background as a consultant for turnaround management and restructuring, puts him in a position to quickly develop and implement practical and practicable solutions. This applies to companies in economic crisis situations as well as to rapidly expanding companies in the financial or process organization that are suffering from "growing pains".

In addition, clients benefit from the interim manager's digitalization expertise. This can be seen in his certification for SAP S/4HANA and FI/CO as well as his in-depth knowledge of ERP and BI systems such as MS Dynamics/Navision, Power BI and LucaNet.

Operative and entrepreneurial manager

In addition to his expertise in organizational development and his affinity for technology, the interim manager is above all an operative and entrepreneurial manager. Thanks to his high intrinsic motivation and a cooperative communication and leadership style at eye level, he motivates managers and teams even in challenging situations. The interim manager attaches particular importance to empowering employees to actively drive forward the solutions developed during the mandate through targeted knowledge transfer and coaching.
