More about the interim manager
The interim manager is an expert in optimizing the scope for design and action and in identifying future challenges. This includes process and production cost optimization in companies. With particular expertise in cost and performance accounting and lean management and his experience as a member of the management board of various Swiss companies, he is ideally placed to identify cost drivers and develop value-enhancing solutions. In a mandate from 2017 to 2022, the interim manager played a major role in the success of the bee-friendly agriculture resource project in the canton of Aargau. As CFO, he was responsible for the project's annual budget totaling five million Swiss francs. Prior to that, as interim CFO, he managed the finance and treasury division of a Swiss compensation fund with 28 subsidiaries.
In 2019, he supported Baoshida Swissmetal AG as interim CFO during the bankruptcy proceedings, including through negotiations with suppliers and banks. By optimizing the production process, he enabled the company to achieve its first half-year profit since its foundation (six million Swiss francs) and supported the takeover process and the establishment of a new public limited company. He also acted as interim CFO at SwissSign AG in 2018 during the spin-off from the Swiss Post Group.
Broad background in methodological and practical skills
The expert has 22 years of professional experience as a manager and executive in various positions in the financial sector. He has been self-employed as an interim manager and freelance consultant since 2018. Before becoming self-employed, he was most recently CFO at SwissSign, before that Head of Finance and Senior Group Controller at a large Swiss insurance group, and prior to that he was Deputy Head of Department at Zürcher Kantonalbank and worked as an accountant.
