More about the interim manager
The interim manager is an expert in restructuring, reorganization and transformation in PE portfolio companies. As CFO, he has repeatedly led medium-sized industrial companies through complex transformation and restructuring projects. These ranged from operational reorganizations and various M&A projects in the private equity environment to post-merger integrations, outsourcings and site closures. Most recently, he also contributed his extensive digital expertise as Chief Information Officer (CIO). His industry focus is on automotive suppliers, mechanical engineering, industrial services and metallurgy.
In a project from 2022 to 2025, the interim manager was responsible for the commercial management of a private equity-managed group of automotive suppliers with a turnover of over 40 million euros and 300 employees. The key challenges included securing the group's liquidity, restructuring the finance department, closing a site and preparing for the shareholder's planned exit. From 2019 to the beginning of 2022, the interim manager worked in various functions for a leading international company in the field of industrial services (maintenance, surface protection, coating technologies). He acted as CFO Europe, as CIO during the introduction of a new ERP system and as CFO Operations for the group of companies.
The interim manager has been self-employed since 2017. During this time, he was taken on permanently as part of several mandates. Previously, he was responsible for the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region as Finance Director and was a member of the management board at one of the world's largest providers of B2B services.
Certified restructuring and reorganization consultant with international experience
The interim manager's expertise goes far beyond the classic profile of a CFO. Clients benefit from his extensive experience as a certified restructuring and reorganization expert. He has successfully initiated and implemented numerous transformation processes, M&A projects and outsourcings. The establishment of shared service centers and successful post-merger integrations, particularly following takeovers by private equity shareholders, complement his strategic and operational profile.
In addition, the interim manager has extensive expertise in the digitalization of financial processes. Among other things, he is an expert in ERP systems, SAP SEM, SAP BW, SAP Business Objects and MS Dynamics.
In his mandates, the interim manager doesn't just focus on key figures. The exchange with managers, employees and external stakeholders is just as important to him. Even in difficult situations, he therefore attaches great importance to communicating clearly, respectfully and empathetically. Clients attest to his strong team spirit and motivating management style, both of which contribute significantly to the excellent results of his work.
