More about the interim manager

The interim manager is an intimate connoisseur of the international textile and clothing industry. This is especially true for Asia. Based in Hong Kong, she worked for more than ten years as an independent consultant and interim manager. Prior to that, she headed the German purchasing branch of a textile company as Managing Director for seven years. During this time, the interim manager gained extensive sourcing experience in more than 30 countries. At the same time, she developed an intercultural sensitivity that she successfully applies to global and long-term business relationships in the interests of her clients.

As a textile and clothing engineer and trained industrial tailor, the interim manager has an excellent technical background. Coupled with her eye for economic requirements, this puts her in a position to negotiate with suppliers on an equal footing. She combines creativity, product knowledge, openness to innovation and a forward-looking approach to achieve great added value for her customers. Her particular strengths also include bringing together cross-departmental teams and achieving goals together on an interdisciplinary basis - whether in creation, production technology or sales.

As a business partner, the interim manager is always highly valued. Due to her many years of experience in Asia, she fulfills all the necessary requirements for successful intercultural management. She is forward-looking, analytical and gets to the heart of things. Her dealings with suppliers are tough but fair. She sees suppliers as partners.

The interim manager cultivates a team-oriented management style. She loves building and developing teams. She sees herself as a leader and coach. In critical situations, she excels at leading with clarity and empathy.

As a long-time competitive long-distance athlete, the interim manager has acquired endurance, tenacity and a down-to-earth attitude. Her expectations are correspondingly high - of herself and others.
