Successful mandates in the field of renewable energy
The Zurich-based chemist with a doctorate has been working as a freelance consultant and interim manager since 2018. In one of his most recent mandates (2022/2023), he advised a large German energy trading company on setting up a new business unit for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). Until 2022, he assisted a Swiss energy trading company with the purchase of a French biodiesel plant: from due diligence to purchase negotiations and subsequent restructuring through to successful operations.
Before becoming self-employed, the interim manager was most recently Head of Supply Strategy & Trading at a Swiss energy company. Before that, the expert worked as a derivatives and investment trader as well as a risk and business analyst.
The interim manager is available for mandates all over the world. He has lived and worked in the USA, Canada and Singapore for several years. From these and other roles, as well as his academic network, he is very familiar with a wide range of business practices. As a skilled negotiator, he is happy to put this intercultural expertise and his empathy to good use for his clients - as well as his network in North America and South East Asia.
