More about the interim manager
The interim manager is an internationally experienced production and plant manager. He is well versed in setting up or optimizing large international and national production facilities in the automotive, wire harness manufacturing and plastic injection moulding sectors. He takes on mandates as interim COO, plant and production manager or project manager. His work also focuses on cost and budget planning as well as standards for plant processes.
In one of his projects, for example, the current interim manager (since 2023) optimized capacity planning for production start-ups of new components for a system and development supplier to the automotive industry. He was also responsible for setting up a new production site in Ukraine for this German tier 1 supplier, from construction planning and planning permission through to commissioning. After commissioning, he successfully oversaw the ramp-up of the plant up to the planned maximum capacity utilization.
Extensive international experience from many assignments abroad
Internationality is a matter of course for the graduate engineer (FH). Over the past 25 years, the manager has spent around half of this time working abroad. He has acquired above-average intercultural skills in England, Eastern Europe, North Africa, China, the USA and Mexico, for example. His extensive experience enables him to provide comprehensive stakeholder management - internally from the Management Board to the work floor, and externally to partners all over the world. He is equally at home in corporate structures as he is in medium-sized companies and specialist suppliers.
In addition to his expertise in setting up production, the interim manager also offers in-depth expertise in relocations and plant closures. He has repeatedly negotiated successfully with trade unions and works councils at company and group level on job cuts, redundancy plans and similar company agreements.
