More about the interim manager
The interim manager is an experienced expert in setting up and optimizing in-house shared service centers in international corporations and SMEs. The industrial engineering graduate has repeatedly successfully managed complex SSC projects - within budget and on time. His concepts for first-class service and performance management turn his SSC projects into sustainably efficient and effective units of international organizations. The interim manager is also very familiar with the reduction of tax risks through the correct billing of internal SSC services ("transfer pricing").
Before becoming self-employed at the beginning of 2021, the interim manager was most recently Vice President Global Business Services at an international logistics group. In this role, he was responsible for the service and performance management of shared services, among other things. This included, for example, the allocation of SSC project costs and the contracting of internal customers, including global billing of services with corresponding service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs). He also led teams in setting up and merging shared service centers in the Finance functional area.
Before that, he had set up an SSC for the Air/Ocean division in Bucharest from the Group headquarters and scaled the processes to more than 200 employees. In another project, he set up an SSC in Manila.
The interim manager is very familiar with the international logistics business, having worked in Singapore and Romania for many years. He has acquired above-average intercultural skills during these assignments. In combination with his additional qualifications as an agile project manager (PRINCE2 Agile Certified Practitioner, SixSigma Green Belt) and systemic coach, he is also a versatile expert for SSC projects beyond the logistics industry.
One of his particular strengths lies in communication: the interim manager usually succeeds very quickly in getting stakeholders on board at all levels and managing the change processes in such a way that managers and employees are actively involved.
