More about the interim manager
The interim manager has a degree in business administration and is the owner of a management consultancy. As an interim manager, he has taken over the management of purchasing and/or supply chain management several times since 2016. As a consultant and in a previous permanent position, he very successfully managed a large number of cost-cutting projects in the areas of purchasing and finance. For his mandates, he therefore focuses primarily on purchasing manager and restructuring mandates.
After studying business administration at the WWU Münster, he started his career at Unilever. His commercial responsibilities included factory planning, German controlling and several IT projects in Germany. He then moved to Europe-wide roles as Finance Director in London (UK) and Hamburg.
After 14 years, he moved to Beiersdorf in Hamburg and took over responsibility for the Group's global indirect purchasing. Among other things, he led a global purchasing development program that implemented state-of-the-art processes and systems and generated significant savings. The interim manager then took over the commercial management of a medium-sized paper manufacturer, heading up the areas of finance, supply chain management, purchasing, marketing and sales.
His authentic, open and approachable manner with a high degree of team spirit and empathy for the needs of internal and external stakeholders sets him apart as a leader. His strengths result from his diverse experience in both corporate groups and SMEs as well as in various functions.
