More about the interim manager
The interim manager is a versatile and experienced production expert for use in SMEs in the manufacturing sector as well as in industrial machine and plant construction. With projects from North America to Asia to Europe and his multilingualism, the Dutchman, who lives in Switzerland, is predestined for international assignments in supply chain management, purchasing and material planning as well as the relocation of production facilities.
In one of his most recent projects, the expert reorganized the material planning team at one of the world's largest manufacturers of elevators and escalators. He also introduced a material flow early warning system to avoid disruptions to production. Before that, he was responsible for purchasing and material planning at a competence center for combustion engines. For an electrical engineering company, he was responsible for the supply chain during the relocation of a division to Eastern Europe.
Multilingual supply chain manager and buyer with international experience
Before becoming self-employed (since 2024), the expert was most recently Head of Material Planning Management at Schindler Supply Chain Europe (Ebikon). Prior to that, he managed two business units of the Liebherr Group in Bulle (Switzerland) and Colmar (France) and was Head of Supply Chain Management at an international manufacturer of electronic components for industry with production sites in Germany, China, the USA and Romania.
The multi-certified supply chain manager and procurement expert has repeatedly managed divisions with up to 75 employees and been responsible for budgets of up to 84 million Swiss francs. In addition, he offers clients a wide range of experience from numerous international projects in Europe, Asia and America.
The multilingualism (English, Dutch, German and French) of the Dutchman, who is married to a Swiss woman, has contributed significantly to his excellent understanding of international business cultures and his ability to lead international teams with particularly strong intercultural skills.
The interim manager describes his approach as "walk the talk". In other words, he does what he promises and likes to get stuck in himself. His management style is motivating: he combines determination and a focus on results with an approachable Dutch manner and Swiss seriousness.
