More about the interim manager
The interim manager is an expert in the production of cardboard and plastic packaging solutions in Germany and abroad as well as PET recycling. As a managing director and plant manager, he has repeatedly set up and expanded or restructured and reorganized sites for packaging materials. The interim manager has particular expertise in multi-plant management and the management of large sites with more than 1,000 employees and sales of several hundred million euros. However, he also takes on mandates for smaller, medium-sized projects.
In his most recent mandates, the interim manager set up a process-oriented supply chain organization for a renowned cardboard manufacturer. In doing so, he was able to significantly reduce production and inventory costs and improve delivery times (OTIF of 99 percent). Previously, the engineering graduate developed and implemented a lean road map for a cardboard manufacturer. Cost reductions and efficiency increases significantly improved the business result. And the desired cultural change is now part of everyday life at the company. Prior to this, the interim manager accompanied a plant for the recycling of PET plastics from the start-up phase to regular operation as an employed project manager for an international retail group.
The graduate engineer (mechanical engineering) combines comprehensive technology expertise in the fields of plastics, cardboard and aluminum as well as strong production expertise in extrusion, injection molding, printing and further processing with excellent skills in lean management and operational excellence.
In addition, he has extensive international experience. He lived with his family in Thailand for ten years, where he set up and managed a packaging materials plant for beverage cartons, among other things. He spent a further three years in China setting up and managing another site. He has also driven forward numerous projects in Japan and Australia. In the course of these activities, he has built up an extensive network in the packaging industry in the Asia-Pacific region (APAC). He is happy to contribute his contacts to his mandates. Temporary assignments abroad are also welcome.
During his more than 30-year career, the interim manager has worked as a managing director, operations director, supervisory board member and consultant. Clients and employees alike attest to the interim manager's emphatic leadership, assertiveness, hands-on mentality and ability to work under pressure. His profound intercultural expertise is another building block that makes him a successful team player and his teams the engines of joint success
