More about the interim manager
The interim manager is an experienced business executive for corporate management, business development as well as reorganization and restructuring in the consumer and capital goods industry. He also has special expertise in the development and internationalization of medium-sized companies due to his work abroad and his multilingualism (English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese). He has been working as an interim manager - with interruptions due to employment following mandates - since 2012.
Thanks to his worldwide activities and networking, the interim manager has a large and resilient network, which he uses profitably for his clients. Since 2008, the interim manager's extended focus has been on the restructuring of companies and strategic realignment following crisis situations. With his certification as a restructuring and reorganization consultant at the IFUS Institute in Heidelberg and further training measures, the interim manager is constantly expanding his knowledge and area of expertise.
Following his training as a business graduate, the interim manager has been responsible for the global sales and business development of manufacturer and retail brands in various segments of the consumer and capital goods industry for more than 30 years. With his specialization in predominantly medium-sized family businesses, he is familiar with all the cultural and management requirements of these companies. In his positions as sales manager, managing director and board member, the interim manager was not only responsible for internationalization, but also in particular for brand management, change processes and business transformation.
In all his positions, the interim manager was in charge of the internationalization of the companies. Examples include the companies C. Josef Lamy GmbH and bulthaup GmbH & Co KG. At Lamy, the focus was on developing and implementing an internationalization strategy for overseas and a direct sales concept for Europe. At bulthaup, the focus was on the global market launch of a new product generation and the associated new conditions and distribution strategy. The interim manager has taken on similar roles and tasks at Alno and Kinnarps. As a board member at Lechner, he was CEO, CRO and CFO, responsible for the preparation of restructuring reports as well as financial and performance restructuring.
Thanks to his many years of global sales activities, a stay abroad (two years as Managing Director for bulthaup Küchen in Italy) and his multilingualism, the interim manager has a strong intercultural background. He is also a goal-oriented team player with an ethic and leadership culture characterized by sustainability, social competence, communication skills and appreciation.
His quick perception and adaptability as well as his extensive knowledge of methods enable him to quickly build trust through competence and solution orientation. Another focus and one of his strengths is his keen sense of successful stakeholder management, both internally and externally.
