More about the interim manager
The interim manager has been self-employed since 2010 and has successfully completed numerous projects since then. He has excellent expertise in purchasing in general and in technical project purchasing, particularly in the automotive and medical technology sectors. As an expert in purchasing and production, his particular focus is on the optimal manufacturability of a product as well as the optimal price-performance ratio.
The interim manager creates long-term and sustainable procurement strategies. He finds partners - and not just suppliers. His actions make a major contribution to leveraging significant savings potential and increasing the profitability of companies. For example, within a year he was able to transform the purchasing department of a client (volume approx. 30 million euros) from an "ordering office" into a strategically active purchasing department through the consistent development of a product group strategy and the establishment of a genuine supplier management system. The potential savings were enormous.
Not just since the coronavirus crisis has he been an advocate of globalized supply chains with as few links as possible. He is firmly convinced that an optimally secured supply chain is much more important for companies than the global search for the cheapest supplier.
The interim manager has been working in the field of electronics and mechatronics for more than 35 years. He has managed production and/or purchasing departments for more than 25 years.
In the area of technical project purchasing, the interim manager can draw on outstanding expertise in the purchasing and production environment. He is familiar with the processes in the automotive and medical technology environment and is familiar with the established rules.
