More about the interim manager
The interim manager and project manager is an expert in the development and sustainable implementation of multi-project management and PMO in medium-sized companies. Whether corporate strategy, operations, investments, innovation or research and development: the interim manager ensures the success of complex change projects not only through an optimal project structure, but also by involving those involved right from the start. In doing so, he combines skills as a leader, change manager and coach. The interim manager also has particular expertise in ESG and sustainability management (taxonomy, CSRD, supply chain law).
In one of his most recent mandates (2021/2022), he set up and successfully led the multi-project management for the greenfield introduction of SAP S/4HANA at a company in the chemical industry. Prior to this, he developed the multi-project management at the headquarters of a European market leader for building materials. The implementation laid the foundation for transparent and appreciative collaboration between the members of middle management, who had previously been locked into strong silo thinking and behavior. In another mandate at the market leader for innovative ventilation technology in the kitchen industry, he successfully acted as a coach for the introduction of multi-project management for a portfolio of 120 projects.
Diverse experience as a project manager and change manager
The interim manager's clients benefit from his diverse experience as a project manager and change manager. Before becoming self-employed (since 2020), he was an authorized signatory and Vice President at an Austrian company in the wood processing and chemical industry for many years, where he was responsible for research and development, innovation and product management, among other things.
In change projects, the interim manager pays particular attention to involving the affected stakeholders and coaching managers, in addition to sound technical planning and implementation. His extensive training in change management, coaching and agile project management helps him to achieve this. His training as a graduate engineer in process engineering predestines the interim manager as an expert in the process industry and sustainability management (ESG).
Clients, managers and teams attest to the interim manager's ability to communicate in a particularly respectful manner - from the worker on the line to the board of directors. He is accepted as a coach and valuable sparring partner as well as a source of inspiration who encourages people to think outside the box. Thanks to his many years of success as a manager in the SME sector, he has an excellent understanding of how to lead people and teams to jointly set goals in the long term.
