More about the interim manager
The Interim Manager is an internationally experienced business executive in medium-sized companies and corporations in the consumer and capital goods industry. He drives the growth of his clients by optimizing sales activities as well as through expansion and business development. Turnaround management for companies in (earnings) crises, restructuring of companies and their strategic realignment have been further focal points of his work since 2006. With his holistic approach, the interim manager ensures sales excellence in all mandates, making his clients successful in the long term. His strengths also include the development of international trade networks and sales organizations as well as the management of large intercultural sales teams.
In his most recent mandates, for example, the interim manager developed key performance indicators for sales together with his team and the sales controlling department for a well-known technical dealer with a three-digit million turnover as interim Chief Commercial Officer in order to measure and increase the efficiency of the sales force with regard to opportunity management. In addition, he successfully restructured sales companies of various medium-sized companies in the construction supply industry (Schlüter Systems) and medical technology (Ivoclar Vivadent). He is characterized by a high degree of social competence and his transparent communication with all stakeholders.
The topic of internationalization runs like a red thread through the career of the interim manager. He founded subsidiaries in the UK, France, Scandinavia, the USA and Japan for the listed medium-sized company Rational AG. In the UK, he then took over the management of the foreign subsidiary. After his return, he was responsible for the strategic realignment of Rational AG's European import business. As Regional Director, he then managed German and international sales organizations at Electrolux AB and Nasdaq-listed Interfaceflor in EMEA and India with 17 foreign subsidiaries.
During his assignments abroad in the UK (six years), France and Scandinavia (one year each), the interim manager was able to acquire and deepen above-average communication and intercultural skills. He also built up a strong international network of renowned law firms, auditing companies and financial institutions, which he is happy to bring to his mandates.
