More about the interim manager
The interim manager is an expert in the transformation of medium-sized companies in the manufacturing industry with a focus on the automotive sector. On the one hand, he supports suppliers during realignment, growth processes or similar difficult phases. On the other hand, he supports medium-sized companies in integrating into the processes of OEM groups - both nationally and internationally. He is also very adept at creating added value for other international industrial companies. Having spent more than ten years abroad in Italy, Korea, Slovakia and India, the interim manager brings extensive international experience and intercultural expertise to his mandates. In his mandates, he usually acts as CFO, CEO or head of the project management office (PMO).
The interim manager - self-employed since 2012 - has acquired his diverse skills in numerous mandates and during his career. In one of his most recent mandates, as CFO he supported the transformation of a family business that had been sold to a Japanese group. He made a significant contribution to the turnaround, optimized the value chain and integrated the company into the group's way of thinking and working. Most recently, he was involved in the integration and merger of two Italian family businesses into a PE fund from the USA. He was responsible for the administrative part (FI/CO and reporting) and realized planned savings.
The interim manager takes a holistic view of companies and their development: from organization to leadership to operational issues. He always looks at the entire value and process chain. Pure "cost cutting" is not his methodology, as he believes that such approaches are generally not effective in the long term.
The interim manager develops his strategies on the basis of figures, data and facts. With his skills as a controller and internal auditor, he builds up controlling and reporting functions that provide his clients with the transparency they need to make informed decisions.
The manager is characterized by a clear, emphatic management style and operational proximity. He demonstrates a hands-on approach and sees himself as part of the team in order to drive it forward. Business partners appreciate his solution- and team-oriented approach as well as his analytical skills. Respectful interaction, even in difficult situations, is a matter of course for him. He maintains contact with all levels of the organization and communicates directly. He also involves employees and stakeholders in equal measure.
