More about the interim manager
The interim manager is an expert in growth and the optimization of value chains. Since 2010, he has successfully completed more than a dozen mandates, most of them in the field of international supply chain management. A recent focus has been on mandates in the field of energy transition (renewable energies, smart grid technologies). As an internationally experienced C-level executive, he not only focuses on supply chains, but always on the entire value chain. With cost reductions and process optimizations as well as his outstanding sales expertise, he was able to lead several medium-sized companies safely through crises, achieve turnarounds and promote new growth.
In his most recent mandate, the interim manager optimized the supply chains of a Swiss provider of energy management solutions as Head of Global Supply Chain Management. The company is one of the world's leading providers of smart grids. Prior to that, as interim managing director during the coronavirus pandemic, he increased the growth of an Austrian photovoltaic company by expanding sales, securing the supply of raw materials and ramping up production. Prior to this, he relocated large parts of the production of a model railway manufacturer from Europe to Vietnam, realizing major cost benefits for his client. He brought an automotive supplier plant that had got into difficulties back on track by implementing comprehensive measures to increase productivity and quality. In another mandate, he set up the supply chains for a newly established steel refining plant in Hungary.
The Austrian's particular successes as an interim manager were recognized by the Arbeitskreis Interim Management Provider (AIMP) with the "Interim Manager of the Year 2017" award for the DACH region.
Recognises potential and knows how to exploit it
The interim manager's strengths include an outstanding generalist view of companies and markets as well as clear analysis down to the last detail. With this combination, he recognizes potential and knows how to exploit it. Another of his strengths is that he quickly and actively involves stakeholders - from investors to the board of directors to the work floor - in transformation processes. In this way, he creates a deep foundation of trust that carries him through even difficult change processes.
His winning management style and clearly structured and consistent way of working are also the result of his personal passion: the interim manager has been a successful competitive sailor for more than ten years. He uses his experience as a skipper and team member, as well as his strong will to win, both personally and strategically for the benefit of his clients
