More about the interim manager
For more than 15 years, the expert has been helping companies to reduce their IT costs. He uses a broad repertoire of options - from renegotiating service contracts and using modern and more efficient IT technologies to optimizing processes and organizations. The focus, however, is on the renegotiation of contracts: Here he regularly assists clients and often achieves significant savings very quickly. He can draw on a wealth of experience and tried-and-tested templates such as tender documents, service descriptions, contract terms and price benchmarks.
He regularly supplements the optimization of price components in IT by optimizing demand management. Better control of volumes, such as server capacities, storage quotas and implementation work, also helps to optimize costs. He succeeds in adapting the control processes to the company in such a way that they are internalized by the organization and thus have a long-term effect.
In his doctorate, the interim manager dealt with the resource-optimized optimization of workflows in pharmaceutical research at Aventis. The interim manager began his professional career at the international strategy consultancies Roland Berger and A.T. Kearney. Here he specialized in IT strategy and IT transformation. He is responsible for numerous studies and is co-author of a book on IT outsourcing. In his most recent mandates, he worked for large banks in other European countries.
The interim manager knows how to motivate project teams in the context of cost reduction projects, even in difficult phases, to achieve the goal and create an atmosphere of partnership. He knows how to negotiate hard with external service providers and still maintain an atmosphere of mutual respect.
