More about the interim manager
The interim manager is an expert in e-learning in companies. His spectrum ranges from in-company training and further education, sales training and digital onboarding measures to the selection and introduction of suitable learning management systems (LMS) and learning and knowledge portals.
In his most recent mandates, the interim manager has converted an established training academy to the provision of "learning nuggets" (short learning modules), introduced a learning management system (LMS) for a software provider and implemented an international training program and an executive development program for a federal authority.
The interim manager has found his passion in digital training and development for almost 20 years. During this time, he has worked as Managing Director of an online academy for the German tax consultant associations and as Managing Director and Managing Partner of two consulting firms. He has successfully managed mandates and projects in various company sizes (from craft businesses to corporations) and sectors (automotive, mechanical engineering, retail, pharmaceuticals, banks and non-profit organizations), for example as manager of online learning activities for sales and aftersales at Daimler. In total, the interim manager has successfully completed over 400 e-learning projects to date.
Agile management and a keen awareness of high-quality processes
His methodological background is characterized by agile management (Professional Scrum Master) and a keen awareness of high-quality processes (Quality Management Assessor Candidate SAQ-EFQM, System Auditor ISO 9000). He is constantly updating his expertise, including through his active involvement in an educational institute focusing on online learning.
As a graduate engineer (FH), the interim manager has a strong technical understanding and a clearly structured way of working. His interest and knack for business contexts, communication and marketing complement his vision.
Clients and teams alike attest to the interim manager's cooperative management style, proactive communication skills and empathy for the needs of managers and staff, which is particularly important for change processes. This combination enables him to develop solutions, even under difficult conditions, that all those involved are happy to work towards together.
The interim manager is particularly keen to create the structures within the mandate that enable his clients to successfully develop and implement online training and modern training concepts with their own resources even after the interim period.
