More about the interim manager
The interim manager is a proven expert in complex IT projects. He has repeatedly managed IT projects across multiple locations and countries with several hundred employees and played a key role in shaping the transformations associated with the projects. The certified project management professional focuses in particular on the areas of big data and artificial intelligence.
In one of his most recent projects, the interim manager was responsible for a new strategic software system for business processes in contract management (Contracts and Quotations, Product Catalogue), bookings (Booking), transport processes (Transport Execution and Intermodal) and documentation as development manager and project manager for a large logistics service provider. The challenges successfully mastered in this project also included connecting the existing IT landscape (SAP, CRM system such as Salesforce, BI, etc.) as well as the successive migration and shutdown of legacy systems.
The interim manager has extensive expertise in the areas of big data and artificial intelligence. One focus is the consolidation of customer data from different systems. AI models are used to identify related customer data from attributes such as name, contact details, birthday, etc., even if the spellings differ in the various data sources.
He has been certified as a PMP Project Management Professional (PMI) since 2010. In addition to traditional project management, he works in agile and hybrid environments. With the agile methodology toolkit "Disciplined Agile", he can adapt flexibly to the respective project environment.
As an experienced manager, he is able to lead teams flexibly while taking individual working methods into account. Depending on the environment, this can be implemented more closely, but also in a self-organizing manner in agile environments.
In addition to his specialist analytical expertise, the interim manager has a particular strength: he can communicate complex technical issues in a way that is easy to understand and that even non-technicians and non-IT experts can follow. This puts him in a position to reconcile the expectations of management and (IT) departments.
