More about the interim manager
The interim manager develops solutions for strategic projects in business transformation, post-merger integration, carve-outs and executive finance, particularly for manufacturing companies. He feels particularly at home in complex organizations with an international profile, where his intercultural expertise is in demand.
The interim manager's professional development began in the Unilever Group. There he worked in various commercial roles with increasing team and budget responsibility, including at the German headquarters in Hamburg. After the spin-off of the specialty chemicals division, he moved to the USA as CFO of a globally operating subsidiary. There he spent six years driving the growth and strategic development of the Alco Group, a specialty polymer manufacturer. Back in Europe, he was responsible for the adhesives business in London as Finance Director.
After a foray into the world of business systems as part of an SAP project, he restructured the ICI-Acheson Group and integrated it into the automotive supplier division of the German Henkel AG & Co KGaA. He managed strategic projects for Henkel for a further two years before setting up his own business as a consultant and interim manager after more than 20 years.
The interim manager leads in the American management style. He attaches great importance to direct communication and short decision-making paths. He considers situational team management, taking into account individual strengths and needs, to be an integral part of his qualification.
His business partners appreciate his clear communication, especially when presenting complicated issues. His structured and transparent templates form a reliable basis for informed decisions. From several projects, the interim manager knows and fulfills the special requirements that private equity companies place on their managers.
