More about the interim manager

The interim manager is a proven expert in purchasing, category management (food and non-food) and sales. Entrepreneurship and customer orientation are his top priorities. He has proven this repeatedly as managing director of system centers in the medium-sized franchise and cooperation business.

As a business unit and purchasing manager in an international purchasing cooperation, the interim manager most recently improved cooperation between industry and retail. One focus was the optimization of processes, for example the digitalization of the data flow for invoicing and article master data. Another focus was on negotiating framework conditions and discounts with suppliers. Last but not least, the interim manager successfully helped to increase sales with existing retail customers and acquire new retail partners.

The business administration graduate (born in 1964) has been working as an interim manager and consultant since 2022. He offers his clients more than 30 years of cross-industry experience in retail management in medium-sized companies and international retail groups. His particular strengths include the targeted approach and acquisition of new business partners and a pronounced focus on results - coupled with a sense of feasibility and implementation. His high level of social and leadership skills and his sensitivity to the needs of different interest groups are further strengths. In addition, he has successfully managed restructuring processes (redefinition of central processes and restructuring of central divisions) in retail organizations and accompanied mergers of retail organizations.

His last employer describes him as follows: "He is an accomplished specialist and leader with an entrepreneurial spirit, who manages his tasks with great personal commitment in a goal-oriented and results-oriented manner and develops them further through a variety of initiatives. He familiarizes himself with diverse and complex areas of responsibility in a very short time, whereby his excellent comprehension skills, his holistic and systematic approach, his organizational talent and his drive enable him to successfully master his tasks and characterize his working style."

He is a manager with a high level of change competence and future orientation, a proven team player with a hands-on mentality and used to working in intercultural teams. In doing so, he approaches people. Even in difficult phases, he has always succeeded in getting people behind him and inspiring them to achieve his goals.
