More about the interim manager
The interim manager is an internationally experienced business executive. In addition to restructuring industrial and brand companies, he acts primarily as a business partner for companies, investors, private equity and traditional capital providers. As a rule, the business administration graduate is appointed as interim CFO, commercial managing director or CRO. He also takes on challenging mandates in the areas of accounting, controlling and treasury.
In one of his most recent mandates, the interim manager (self-employed since 2004) prepared the first auditable consolidated financial statements for an Asian-European group in just six months during the coronavirus pandemic following an acquisition. This included bank and covenant reporting in accordance with IFRS (EUR 80 million turnover). The interim manager's work also formed the basis for a well-founded growth strategy.
As interim CFO for a medical technology company listed on the S-Dax, he was previously able to prevent the incorrect valuation of new US investments and submit a belated, proper consolidated financial statement. In another mandate, he coordinated the business case for the strategic refinancing of an Austrian branded underwear provider in Europe and the USA in such a way that a new long-term financing line was successfully raised.
Business partner with a focus on environmental, social and governance (ESG)
Before becoming self-employed, the interim manager worked for more than ten years as a board member, CFO and commercial director at international brand companies. With this mindset, he always sees himself as a business partner to his clients beyond the day-to-day business. He provides impetus for strategic developments and is valued as an advisor by owners as well as supervisory boards and investors. Even with his doctorate in ecology and strategic corporate management, the interim manager focused early on sustainable corporate management according to the principle of Environmental Social and Governance (ESG).
