More about the interim manager
The interim manager is an experienced business executive in the aviation industry. With a PhD in aeronautical engineering and an MBA from Manchester Business School, he offers international expertise in the development and production of complex safety-critical products and systems in the aerospace industry. His systems expertise includes in particular the interaction of mechanics, hydraulics, mechatronics, electronics and software. The expert seeks mandates as managing director (interim CEO), CTO, strategy or project manager in the aviation industry and related sectors.
In his most recent projects, the interim manager (self-employed since summer 2023) was responsible for engineering and all operational areas as managing director at a medium-sized company in the aviation industry. By expanding the site, he was able to increase turnover by 50 percent and reduce costs by 30 percent at the same time. As department head at another SME in the aviation industry, he previously achieved seven-figure savings by optimizing flight control repair processes.
Organizational and cultural transformation with intercultural expertise
The interim manager's particular focus is on the organizational and cultural transformation of companies. The certified Scrum Master combines agile and digital realignment with modern leadership at eye level. He also imparts his leadership skills in the form of coaching and further training - at C-level as well as for middle managers.
In addition to technical expertise and leadership qualities, the expert offers strong intercultural skills. He lived in India and Kuwait for many years. He is therefore very familiar with the culture of the subcontinent and the Arab world. He has used his many years abroad in the UK and numerous projects with international teams to constantly develop his leadership skills and his international network in business and science. Among other things, he has successfully demonstrated his diplomatic skills in setting up a company (public-private partnership) for the development of electric aircraft and in lobbying for aviation issues at the European Commission.
