More about the interim manager
The interim manager is an expert in general management as well as research and technological development in medical technology. He also has excellent expertise in innovation management and the protection of intellectual property. He offers his clients a combination of extensive commercial experience as a managing director and entrepreneur with technical expertise as a CTO, research manager and development engineer with a doctorate. The interim manager seeks mandates in SMEs in the medical technology and related sectors with up to around 200 employees, preferably as interim managing director, interim CEO or interim CTO.
Since 2021, the expert has successfully built up a company in the field of environmental technology, the management of which he hands over to his deputy for the duration of mandates. Before becoming self-employed, he was CTO, member of the management board and head of research at a renowned Swiss provider of medical training simulators as well as head of software and hardware development at an internationally active Swiss manufacturer of catering coffee machines.

In medical technology, the interim manager has particular expertise in the development of imaging techniques, especially in the field of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computed tomography (CT). He is also a lecturer for computed tomography in the Master's degree program in Medical Technology at the ZHAW School of Engineering Winterthur.
Born in Switzerland, he is just as well connected from his teaching activities and leadership roles in research as he is with international companies in the field of medical technology. His scientific career began with an engineering degree at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), followed by a year studying abroad in France and a period at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm, leading to a doctorate at ETH Zurich. There, the multilingual expert (Italian, French, English, German) laid the foundations for the excellent intercultural skills with which he leads international teams to joint success as a manager.
