More about the interim manager
With more than 25 years of experience in management positions in finance, accounting and controlling in companies in various industries, the broad-based financial expert set up his own business as a freelance interim manager in 2014.
Following the motto "I like hands-on responsibility" (Lee Iacocca), the interim manager is particularly at home where a hands-on mentality is required. He is convinced that motivating employees by convincing them and motivating them through identification are the drivers for delivering successful work results in a team.
In recent years, he has successfully helped shape the integration of individual companies into new group structures and the associated changes to accounting standards. He has also repeatedly set up reporting systems and new management structures in the area of accounting. In addition, he has regularly prepared annual financial statements for individual companies and groups in accordance with both HGB (German Commercial Code) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). In such projects, he is mainly responsible for communicating with the auditors.
The interim manager was also instrumental in the successful transfer of sub-ledger accounting activities to a shared service center in Eastern Europe. His profile is rounded off by regular classic vacancy bridging for the functions of CFO, Head of Finance and Accounting, Finance Director and Commercial Director.
The interim manager's communicative and social skills are paired with openness and empathy. The statement "We've always done it this way" is a horror to him. He optimizes work steps wherever possible.
