More about the interim manager
The interim manager is a computer science graduate with experience in international cooperation in the mechanical engineering, medical technology and semiconductor industries. He seeks mandates as CIO, IT manager or head of complex IT projects in a national and international environment. Due to his experience, the interim manager has particular expertise in international (multi-)project management, including global prioritization.
The focus of his work is on optimizing the content and organization of IT areas and the value-adding alignment of IT processes based on specific business models. He understands cross-company collaboration just as well as freeing IT work in the company from silos and bringing about efficient cross-departmental cooperation. He also has particular expertise in integrating IT systems following acquisitions and managing the outsourcing of IT sub-areas.
After completing his degree in computer science at the Technical University of Munich, the interim manager began his career as an IT project manager in the manufacturing environment. This was soon followed by his first management positions as head of a data center and as director in the management of a business intelligence department. After an IT management role in the DACH region with subsequent tasks in setting up a new location in the USA and global responsibility for production and logistics processes, he most recently spent a decade as IT manager/CIO in a medium-sized company.
Since 2021, he has been offering his expertise as an independent interim manager and IT consultant. In addition to his comprehensive toolbox and a resilient international network, he recommends himself to clients as a coach and developer of talent. He ensures pragmatic, goal-oriented action and knows how to bring together representatives from different departments. He focuses on business cases and also introduces new technologies profitably
