More about the interim manager

The interim manager is an expert in IT management in the automotive supplier and manufacturing industry. She is usually mandated as CIO or Head of IT. Whether industrial SMEs or international corporate structures, she develops IT organizations into reliable internal business partners, particularly in phases of change. In this way, she creates an efficient basis for the digitalization of business and production processes and strengthens the competitiveness of her clients. Another focus of her work is IT compliance and information security management (GDPR, IATF 16949, ISO/IEC 27001, TISAX).

The expert has been an independent interim IT manager and IT consultant since 2020. In her most recent mandate (2022/2023), she - after their spin-off - worked as a consultant on the design of the new IT target organization, which she then further developed and implemented as interim CIO. At the same time, she contributed her expertise to various M&A topics. in 2020/2021, she was Interim Head of IT at a family business in the paper industry in Hesse. The focus there was on reorganizing and developing the IT team and IT processes as well as stabilizing ongoing IT projects in the areas of ERP, infrastructure and information security.

Global IT organizations aligned as service-oriented business partners

Before becoming self-employed, the expert worked for many years as a manager in the IT unit of an automotive supplier group, as Deputy Head of IT, Head of IT Technical Services and Head of IT Applications. During this time, she accompanied the transformation from a family-run medium-sized company to an international group. This included international projects relating to SAP ERP implementations (including China, USA, Poland, India and Mexico). In various roles, she played a key role in strategically realigning the global IT organization and establishing it as a customer- and service-oriented business partner.

In her mandates, she always has the mission "Come to go" in mind. She hands over an IT project portfolio to her successors that is aligned with current economic and risk aspects, as well as the target image of an IT system architecture with coordinated budget and resource planning. In addition, measures to stabilize and optimize the IT systems and applications take effect.

At the same time, the interim manager qualifies the teams entrusted to her in such a way that all changes can be seamlessly continued and developed. Her transparent communication and interaction turn the teams into designers of the solution. At the end of the mandate, there are concretely formulated IT services with clear goals, roles and responsibilities that have been agreed with the stakeholders - in other words, an IT organization as a true business partner.
