More about the interim manager

The Interim and Transformation Manager acts primarily as Chief Information Officer (Interim CIO) and Chief Digital Officer (Interim CDO). He uses IT and digitalization to optimize value creation and business models. He is a leading expert in the design and implementation of new target operating models (TOM) for IT and HR functions in global companies - including the protection and operation of KRITIS.

He has gained special expertise and experience in the digitalization of IT functions and its workforce as well as in the management of digital incubators. For more than ten years, he has designed, optimized and transformed IT functions on a global level. He considers all dimensions of an IT function: people, processes, systems, organization, sourcing, cloudification. He is an expert in all IT management and governance practices, in particular project portfolio management, enterprise architecture management, sourcing, vendor and license management as well as audit and control management.

The interim manager has extensive experience in managing global outsourcing projects - from tender, negotiation, award to transition and transformation. He is also a specialist in offshore and nearshore projects. He achieves sustainable and ad hoc effective cost reductions and optimizes contract management and vendor control - even in established relationships.

The IT Executive has particular expertise and experience in managing IT due diligence, M&A and carve-out programs - globally and in corporate groups. This includes the design and implementation of IT architectures, personnel transfers including §613a procedures, the provision of transitional services and post-merger optimizations.

Starting as a management consultant, the interim manager was later employed in both operational and strategic functions - from board level in medium-sized companies to top management level in DAX corporations. He brings with him international experience from assignments in twelve countries.

The establishment of modern management methods and agile leadership in the line organization and in change enriches his formative leadership role. In addition, the interim manager is also available as a digital advisory board member or executive advisor for companies.
