More about the interim manager

The internationally experienced C-level executive is a versatile expert in the general management of large medium-sized companies and corporations. He is mandated when companies are already in problematic situations or when companies want to prevent a weakness from turning into a major crisis. He also supports healthy companies in transformation processes through fundamental changes such as new strategies, structures, processes or systems.

The graduate mechanical engineer and industrial engineer has been working as an independent consultant and sparring partner at C-level since 2020. During this time, he has successfully completed three major mandates as a management consultant. In his most recent mandate with a leading industrial service provider of machining technology for thermoset materials, he succeeded within a few months in sustainably streamlining processes in supply chain and operations and living the service and service provider approach through a paradigm shift in management and the workforce. Prior to this, as a consultant, he was conceptually and operationally responsible as CFO for a leading international manufacturer and full-service provider of stainless steel container solutions in the definition and implementation of the corporate strategy. He also reorganized the Group's financial management and played a key role in the implementation and successful realization of the protective shield procedure for the German company.

20 years of experience as CEO in international companies

Before working as a management consultant and interim manager, the executive was responsible as CEO in international companies for 20 years, restructuring and realigning them. With his extensive crisis management experience in the automotive, hygiene and furniture supply industries, he has made a significant contribution to guiding companies in crisis through restructuring and reorganization concepts in an orderly manner.

In change and culture management, strategic realignment is demonstrably one of the interim manager's core competencies. He is a specialist for companies undergoing transformation processes, technologization, digitalization or increasing complexity in the corporate environment - or introducing the next generation of family entrepreneurs. Performance from culture is his guarantee for long-term success.

In addition to his high level of leadership and project management expertise, clients benefit from his comprehensive expert knowledge in sales, finance and controlling. The greatest successes of his CEO career include national and international turnarounds with demonstrable increases in profitability from year one, implemented M&A activities, carve-outs and exits as well as the creation of genuine performance cultures from the combination of hard factors (performance) and soft factors (culture).

As a hands-on implementer, it is important to him not only to overcome crises in the short term, but also to realign companies. He has proven this professionally in his successful career in Europe, Asia and the Americas. In the hygiene, furniture and automotive industries, he has used his restructuring expertise to achieve significant increases in sales through efficiency programs and the expansion of market position and market shares, which have led to a sustainable increase in earnings.
