More about the interim manager
The Interim Manager is an internationally experienced C-level executive for companies in the information and communications technology (ICT) sector. His particular focus is on restructuring and growth projects. He understands growth through acquisitions (M&A) just as well as complex and interculturally challenging post-merger integrations. In addition, he has repeatedly realigned and successfully optimized management and sales organizations. The expert seeks mandates as Interim CEO, Interim Business Unit Manager, Interim CSO or Sales Director.
In his most recent mandate (2023/2024), the interim manager supported a Swiss utility company in building up a telecoms business unit and digitizing the company by aligning IT with the special challenges of the ICT industry as Managing Director.
From 2021 to the end of 2022, the expert led the complex post-merger integration of a Swiss and a Czech telecommunications company as CEO. Among other things, he managed to rebuild the severely ailing organization while exceeding the business target for 2021 by 40 percent.
As CEO for Switzerland, the interim manager led an ambitious international growth program for an internationally operating group until 2020. Together with his team, he established the newly launched brand and, through organic growth and acquisitions of national and international companies, turned the company into the parent company's third-strongest division with sales growth from 70 to 240 million Swiss francs.
Intimate knowledge of the Swiss ICT industry with a very resilient network
The ICT expert has been self-employed as an interim manager and consultant since 2022. Prior to the above-mentioned CEO roles, he worked for many years in the key account business at Ericsson AG and as a business unit manager at Swissphone. For several years, he developed the market in Northern Europe (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland), the UK and Ireland on behalf of an international company.
During these positions, the expert was able to massively increase the market share of his employers. As a result of these activities, he also has an excellent network in the Swiss ICT industry and is happy to put his extensive connections at the service of his clients, for example when recruiting managers.
In addition to the experience gained in his positions, the interim manager offers comprehensive commercial and technical qualifications, such as an Executive MBA from HSG St. Gallen, a degree in industrial engineering (St. Gallen Management School) and a degree in electrical engineering from ETH Zurich.
