More about the interim manager
The interim manager is an expert in technically complex capital goods in the SME environment for electrical engineering and (special) mechanical engineering. Whether as a technical sales, project or development manager, he always forms the bridge between the different areas in a company. His structured and process-oriented way of working leads him to rethink organizations and processes and to focus the various stakeholders on customer benefits.
The interim manager can draw on his technical training as a graduate electrical engineer, development and design manager as well as his business management training as a certified restructuring and reorganization consultant (IfUS Institute). This enables him to develop solutions at eye level with developers and engineers up to C-level management, to penetrate processes and organizational structures deeply and to leverage optimization potential.
His pronounced affinity for budget and profitability issues in combination with a strong understanding of contract and corporate law makes him a welcome sparring partner for CEOs, CFOs and CROs.
His ability to analyze technical correlations in combination with key performance indicators (KPIs) and business models enables him to develop options for action for the success of the company and to take comprehensive account of technical and financial risks (360-degree view). In addition, he supports companies in transformation processes by combining technical expertise with targeted liquidity and sustainability management on the way to sustainable, digital and future-proof business concepts.
Thanks to his emphatic and trusting manner, he knows how to inspire people and teams for the common task. He builds trust for the organization and/or teams ("we-feeling") and sets new impulses. The focus is on people and teams, whose success and ability to successfully continue the projects and tasks after the end of the mandate.
Mandates and assignments at sea have one thing in common. They are ventures into the unknown. And that is why sailors are still bid farewell today with the Frisian motto "Rüm Haart, klaar Kiming" (Wide heart - Clear horizon). This saying also characterizes the way the interim manager works: clear in his statements, transparent in his actions and with an eye for the essentials in critical situations. He starts when others give up!
