More about the interim manager

The interim manager with a technical and business background has been working as an independent consultant since 1987. His focus is on mandates for process optimization, reorganizations, restructurings, company sales, business development, cost reduction programs and market potential analyses. As an authorized certification consultant, he has led twelve companies to ISO 9000 ff. certification. He has prepared more than 20 expert reports for the Treuhandanstalt on the continuation and privatization of companies.

Since 1999, he has also worked as an interim manager. He has held various management positions as CEO, COO, Commercial Director and Head of Division. He has been able to successfully apply his expertise from the consulting business. One of his most important positions was as CEO of a company listed on the London Stock Exchange following its takeover by a German group and the management of post-merger integration. As COO of another listed company, he was responsible for the management of 14 subsidiaries in seven countries. Before becoming self-employed, he worked as an employed project manager at a well-known German institute for capital goods market research and consulting.

He is an experienced expert in the optimization of processes and supply chains. He has been using digital solutions for many years to make processes faster and more cost-effective - but also to make the best possible use of employee resources. He has demonstrated this expertise several times as interim Head of Purchasing. He has also been able to contribute his experience as a programme manager and project manager for optimizing supply security and cost savings within the supply chain.

When supporting M&A projects, he was responsible for mandates ranging from company valuations and the creation of business plans to due diligence and post-merger integration.

The interim manager has been a member of the umbrella organization Deutsches Interim Management e.V. (DDIM) since 2004 and has been on the DDIM board since 2016.
