More about the interim manager

The interim manager takes on management and consulting positions in the financial sector as well as mandates as a project manager and interim auditor. He specializes in international accounting, controlling and risk management. As a project manager, he takes on projects for post-merger integrations as well as relocations and insourcing or outsourcing of shared services.

The introduction of IFRS standards as well as sustainable efficiency and cost reduction programs are another focus of the interim manager. As an interim auditor, he takes on internal and external audit tasks for financial statement audits, regulatory audits and due diligences.

The interim manager has a broad international background. The business graduate and chartered financial analyst has a Master of Professional Accounting (MPA) from the USA. He has further developed his skills in numerous assignments abroad, including in London, Tokyo, Sydney, Bucharest and Copenhagen. In Singapore, he worked for three years as a business scout and regional manager for financial services in the Asia & Pacific region.

With his motto "Change - Flow - Teaming-up", the interim manager stands for clear structures, flow, digitalization and lean administration. He has many years of experience as a business partner and sounding board for board members and (family) shareholders.

Before taking the step into self-employment, the interim manager worked for twelve years as CFO, commercial director and in various finance management positions in Germany and the DACH region. He is well versed in interface management in a corporate environment and knows the international perspectives of head offices and foreign subsidiaries.

With intercultural sensitivity and leadership experience from various phases of change, his focus in the area of HR is on team building at divisional and departmental level, on-the-job coaching of managers, targeted development of junior staff and the integration of difficult contemporaries. He has led teams of more than 100 employees.
